Metro Ho Chi Minh Fare

***From December 22, 2024 to January 21, 2025 (30 days), the first metro line of Ho Chi Minh City is open free to all travellers (as per official announcement). No registration needed.***

It has been proposed by the Transportation department of Ho Chi Minh city that the fare for metro line of Ho Chi Minh city would be:

• One-way ticket: 

  • • • Cash: 7,000 VND - 20,000 VND (based on distance travelled)

      • Debit/ Credit/ Other: 6,000 VND - 19,000 VND (based on distance travelled)

• 1-day Pass: 40,000 VND

• 3-day Pass: 90,000 VND

• Monthly Pass: 

  • • • Adult: 300,000 VND

      • Student: 150,000 VND

      • Senior/ People with disabilities: Free

Ticket and Pass would be issued as Smart Card or Paper Ticket.
